Check your car
It is important that state of your car before it is transported, tire wear, leaks and other mechanical issues have to be iddentified before transportation. Leaks are not allowed and must be taken care off as this can demage other cars on the carrier. Customer negligence can cost you money as this is not covered by carrier insurrance.
Take pictures
It is recommended you wash your car before transportation as weel, as this way you can take clear pictures of any scratches or dents the car may already have. In the event scratches or dents do occur during transit, it will be easir for you identify and also serve as proof for insurance claims.
Check for insurance
Part of transporting your car requires of you to check for insurance coverage with the company you use. There are many companies that are not insured and still offer the service, if anything should happen to your car, this will be out of your pocket.
Remove personal items
Check the inside of your vehicle for personal items and remove them! Insurance polovice do not over for any personal items in case of loss or damage. Also adding personal items in your car adds to the overall weight on thecarrier and this can cause serious
penalties, which will then be charged to you. Remember, this is a car transport company not a moving company.
Do not hassle the driver
When you transport your car, you are provided the dirver's number in order to be in direct contact for pick up , delivery and updates on your transport. We understand you may be concerned at times, however drivers have the obligation to communicate with you for pick up, delivery and at least once every 2 days for updates during transit (if transit is more than 5 days, such as cross country trips). Drivers are on the road all the time and cannot be on cellphones, if anything should occur to your car or any delays should change schedules, you will be notified, so be patient. Aggravated drivers end up causing aggravation to you. Use this number wisely!
